About Agri Training

New Zealand has a world-class agricultural industry with a reputation for being at the leading edge of technological and scientific practices.  We’ve taken the very best of traditional farming methods, underpinned it with the latest thinking and best practice, to develop the most comprehensive, practical and relevant primary industries training.

We’re growing tomorrow's farmers today

New Zealand farmers are world leaders in agriculture and the industry is the backbone of the New Zealand economy.

A group of committed farmers and rural leaders came together and identified a gap in the training market. They were looking for young people who had the depth and breadth of knowledge, coupled with the practical skills and experience to help drive our primary industries to even greater heights.

Agri Training delivers extensive and comprehensive knowledge and experience to trainees, so that when they graduate they are trade qualified and skilled in all practical and relevant areas of modern-day farming demands.

Our purpose is simple:

  • Grow tomorrow’s farmers today
  • Deliver real outcomes
    • Coupled with real skills
    • Underpinned by real knowledge
