Grow your farming career

New Zealand has a world-class agricultural industry, with a reputation for its leading edge technological and scientific practices.  We’ve taken the best traditional farming methods, underpinned them with the latest thinking and best practice, to develop the most comprehensive, practical and relevant, apprenticeship style primary industry training.

We recognise the skills you already have

We put every trainee through our RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) assessment system. So any experience and the stuff you already know can fast-track you through parts of your diploma. Then we get on with giving you experience and knowledge in the things you don’t know. We call this training to the gaps.

This is what Agri Training is offering you...

  • Earn while you learn
You are (or will be) employed on a working farm, so what you earn makes your investment into your education the obvious choice. No debt – no student loan – no brainer!

  • Hands-on training
Think apprenticeship style. Learning by doing! It’s practical and relevant, competency-based training designed by New Zealand farmers to deliver a complete, grassroots agricultural trades education.

You're in control of your training

  • Study designed to suit YOUR life!
Forget traditional classrooms. You’ll be out in the paddocks and sheds, working and learning under the guidance of one of our passionate Partner Farmers. We’ve added in some block courses, discussion groups and supply ongoing mentoring. Then you choose when it’s time to hit the books! The simple to follow,  commonsense theory training is all online; anytime, from anywhere on any device.
