This course provides trainees with a safe environment to learn the art or refresh their calving knowledge and offers time to practice different calving scenarios. It can be an uncomfortable process using live animals for training, not only because of the lack of ability to visually confirm that the trainee’s technique is up to standard, but also because it can be an uncomfortable experience for live training animals.
